Emma' Most Memorable Camp

My most memorable moment at camp was the tree climbing. I felt ecstatic as I scaled the old gum tree. The rain pounding down on my black puffa jacket. The great gum tree towers over me as I yank myself higher and higher until I reached the very last wooden step.

My heart is pounding as I grasp hold of the last blue wooden step that was terrifically nailed in to the glistening white bark. I excitedly look around from the top, to see the roofs of the cosy bunk rooms and below my belay team straining on the red and blue patterned rope.

That was a moment I will never forget.

My most notable part of camp was the forceful lazy river. Because Olly was driving me around like a chauffeur, while I relaxed.

My most memorable moment of camp was waking up in the morning putting our warm clothes on and having a massive snow ball fight with the friends in my tribe.I got absolutely drenched in wet water and snow .I also liked rock climbing because it was fun getting b-layed down the side of the step rock by someone in your tribe.

HELP HELP SOS Helpers for the fair

I know some of you are committed to other classes. However if you are not and find any spare time on the night please come over to the inflateable to relieve the 3 helpers we have. It will be much appreciated.

I only had 2 helpers offer from my note home yesterday, so if you are able to contribute 1 hr or even 30mins please put you name on the noticeboard outside the door or send a note in. No pick up or drop off helpers yet either. I have the bond for the pick up at Mitre 10 so see me if you can do this.

Im sure im speaking to the converted but this is a huge fundraiser, a massive undertaking by parents as volunteers. They need us all to do a little to help gain a lot. Please give your time if you can.

Thank you
Dionne
